Ancient Roman Imperial Coins - Maximian (under Carausius) - Colchester - Pax Antoninianus
292-293 AD. Colchester mint. Obv: IMP C MAXIMIANVS P F AVG legend with radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: PAX AVGGG legend with Pax standing left holding olive-branch and sceptre; S in left field, mintmark C in exergue. RIC v(ii), p.555, 42; Sear 13159. 4.11 grams. .
