T-60. Confederate Currency. 1863 $5. PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.
No. 111783. Plate F. Printed by Keatinge & Ball in Columbia, SC. February, 1864 stamp at left. A large vignette of the Virginia State Capitol in Richmond at center, with portrait of Christopher G. Memminger (CSA Secretary of the Treasury) at lower right. Like many other Confederate notes, PMG has graded over ninety uncirculated examples between 62 and 64 EPQ, but only four have made it to the gem 65 EPQ level. Four full and complete borders with attractive paper. PMG Pop 4/None Finer.
