ITALY. Bruttium. Lokroi Epizephyrioi. AE 26mm (12.73 gms), ca. 288-279 B.C. NGC VF, Strike: 4/5 Surface: 5/5.
HGC-1, 1580; HN Italy-2381. Obverse: Helmeted head of Athena right; ΛΕΥ to inner left; Reverse: Persephone seated left on base, holding phiale and poppy-headed scepter; star to upper left and right, monogram to lower right. Moderately worn, but with all details still remaining quite clear and without any flan or post-striking issues.
