ITALY. Bruttium. Medma. AR Stater (8.61 gms), ca. 330-320 B.C. NGC AU★, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 5/5.
HGC-1, 1596; Pegasi-1; Gorini-Group II (O4/R7). Obverse: Pegasos flying left; Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena left; M below. Very well centered and attractively toned, this barely handled specimen is clearly deserving of its star designation for superior eye appeal. A few light die cracks are noted, but not at all obtrusive.
