ITALY. Bruttium. Lokroi Epizephyrioi. AR Stater (8.73 gms), ca. 350-274 B.C. NGC AU, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 5/5.

HGC-1, 1574; Pegasi-13; HN Italy-2342. Obverse: Pegasos flying left; thunderbolt below; Reverse: Helmeted head of Athena right within shallow incuse circle. Well centered and quite boldly struck on each side, this barely handled example presents glistening eye appeal and a captivating cabinet tone.
