G. W. REISINGER on an 1853 Braided Hair large cent. Brunk R-189, Rulau-Unlisted. Host coin Very Fine.
This is the stamp of George Washington Reisinger (b.1832), a machinist and inventor working in York and Harrisburg, PA through the 1860's to 1880's. He has several patents for various inventions over several years. Brunk lists two large cents reported of other dates, so this is a new example.
