Description

MYSIA. Kyzikos. Circa 500-450 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 11 mm, 2.66 g), struck circa 480. Panther or lioness at bay to left; below, tunny swimming to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. BMFA 1472. SNG Paris 219-220. Von Fritze 86. Clearly struck and nicely toned. Light scratches, otherwise, very fine.
