MYSIA. Kyzikos. Circa 500-450 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 11 mm, 2.66 g). Nude youth ruding dolphin to left, holding tunny by the tail with his extended right hand and with his left hand extended behind him; below, tunny swimming to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Cf. BMFA 1486 ( stater ). SNG Paris -. Cf. Von Fritze 110 ( stater ). Extremely rare as hekte. Clear and well-centered. Minor marks, otherwise, good very fine.
