CARTHAGE. Circa 350-320 BC. Stater (Gold, 17.5 mm, 9.29 g, 12 h). Head of Tanit to left, wearing triple pendant earring, necklace, tied at the back and hung with seven pendants, and a wreath of grain leaves. Rev. Horse standing to right; in field to right, before horse's forehooves, three pellets arranged as an inverted triangle. Jenkins & Lewis Group IIIf, 45-7. MAA 4. Scrape on the obverse, and minor marks, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
