CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 365-355 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.77 g, 3 h). Nude youth on horse prancing right, holding bridles in his left hand; below horse,. Rev. ΤΑΡΑΣ Youthful oikist, nude, riding dolphin to left, his right arm outstretched. Fischer-Bossert 573 (V231/R435). HN Italy 879. Vlasto 464. Harshly cleaned and with a minor die break on the obverse, otherwise, very fine.
