CELTIC, Northwest Gaul. Coriosolites. Circa 100-50 BC. Stater (Silver, 20 mm, 6.07 g, 1 h), 'au nez pointé' type. Celticized male head to right, the hair in in large spiral curls and with an S-shaped ear. Rev. Celticized rider on horseback to right, holding long whip in his right hand; below, boar. DT 2340. LT 6598. Beautifully toned. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good very fine.
