CELTIC, Central Europe. Vindelici. 1st century BC. Stater (Gold, 17 mm, 7.69 g, 10 h), 'Blattkranz mit Vogelkopf / Torques mit Blütenknospe' type. Head of a bird to left within a wreath with counterclockwise leaves. Rev. Six pellets within torque with pellet at each end; below, 'grain ear'; all within shallow incuse. Dembski -. Flesche 308. Karl 275 ( this coin ). LT 9435. SLM 1075. Very rare and in exceptional condition for this difficult issue. A few flan faults on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.
