A 1st type Grand Cross breast star of the early, official, embroidered type, 81 mm, with rays of silver-strip and paillettes, the centre embroidered in colour thread outlined with gold wire and inscription on the outer circlet, the reverse backing in ivory-coloured paper with maker’s label of Heinrich Vogel & Alckens, Munich. A star in fantastic condition for it’s age!
