Honorius, Western Roman Empire (AD 393-423). AV solidus (20mm, 4.41 gm, 6h). NGC AU 4/5 - 2/5, scratches. Ravenna, AD 415. D N HONORI-VS P F AVG, pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust of Honorius right, seen from front, wearing helmet decorated with three stars / VICTORI-A AVGGG, emperor standing facing, placing right foot on recumbent lion left, long staff surmounted by staurogram in right hand, placing left on hilt of sword; manus Dei above, crowning emperor; R-V across fields, COB in exergue.
