Description

Augsburg. Free City Taler 1694 MS64 NGC, Augsburg mint, KM106, Dav-5049, Forster-403. With the name and titles of Leopold I. A remarkably immaculate presentation even for its already peak certified grade, with hardly a mark of any singular significance discernable even with the aid of a loupe. Perhaps only the most inconsequential chatter in the open field to the right of the Imperial pinecone bounds the certification, a feature instantly off-set by the surface quality on the whole, which radiates a glassy sheen with clear die polish around the double-headed eagle. From the Cape Coral Collection of German Coins, Part I
