Description

Republic Li Yuan-hung Dollar ND (1912) Genuine (Cleaned) PCGS, Wuchang mint, KM-Y321, L&M-45, Kann-639. Type without hat. A fairly attainable representative of this instantly recognizable Republican-era Dollar, still remaining quite attractive in spite of the noted past cleaning. While the issues of Li Yuan-hung are often known for doubling in the legends, of the reverse particularly, such does not seem to be the case with the present coin. Though not assigned a base grade by PCGS, the coin appears to the present cataloger to be in AU condition. Ex. Heritage Auction #3020 (September 2012, Lot 23451)
