Description

Republic Li Yuan-hung Dollar ND (1912) AU58 PCGS, Wuchang mint, KM-Y321, L&M-45, Kann-639, Chang-CH233, WS-0090, Wenchao-851 (rarity 1 star). Type without hat. A classical Chinese rarity covetable in any state of preservation, especially so when encountered at the very boundary of Mint State. Despite the fairly trivial instances of handling that bound the grade, the piece at hand displays surprisingly boisterous appearances, abundant in residual luster shimmering across raised motifs displaying not a hint of weakness. Certainly one of the most attractive of these "no hat" Dollars in comparable grades and surely worthy of the attention of quality-minded collectors.
