Ancient Roman Imperial Coins - Magnus Maximus - Roma Siliqua
384-388 AD. Trier mint. Obv: D N MAG MAXIMINVS P F AVG legend with diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: VIRTVS ROMANORVM legend with Roma seated facing holding globe and resting on sceptre; mintmark TR PS in exergue. RIC ix, p.29, 84b; RSC 20a; Sear 20644. 1.89 grams. . Property of a deceased Cambridgeshire collector; ex Spink (with ticket and envelope"). This lot is being sold for the benefit of a Cambridgeshire charity.
