Description
Medieval Gold Ring with Emerald
14th century AD. A gold finger ring comprising a round-section hoop and hexagonal domed bezel, inset emerald cloison. Cf. Oman, C.C. British Rings 800-1914, London, 1974, item 18(c"). 8.79 grams, 25mm overall, 21.55mm internal diameter (approximate size British Y, USA 12, Europe 27.51, Japan 26) (1"). Property of a Dutch lady; formerly in the D. Clements collection.
Very fine condition. A large wearable size.
