Western Asiatic Gold Bracelet with Lion Head Terminals
1st millennium AD. A gold round-section penannular bracelet with finials formed as stylised lion's heads, with grinning face and detailed mane. 28.94 grams, 63mm (2 1/2"). Property of a Mayfair lady; formerly in an important London collection formed since 1965.
