Gold Ring with Ruby
Circa 16th-17th century A.D. With D-section shoulders, waisted bezel and inset ruby cabochon; probably from South East Asia. 7.12 grams, 22.80 mm overall, 15.60 x 15.21 mm internal diameter (approximate size British J, USA 4 3/4, Europe 8.63, Japan 8) (7/8 in.).
From a late Japanese specialist collector, 1970-2000s.
