Chinese Neolithic Painted Frog Jar
3rd-2nd millennium B.C. Piriform bodied and painted with a figurative frog design; two loop handles to the equator. Cf. The Metropolitan Museum, New York, accession number 2015.500.7.9, for similar. 3.6 kg, 36 cm high (14 1/4 in.).
