Macedonia - Alexander III (the Great) - AR Tetradrachm. 315-300 B.C. Posthumous issue, Salamis, Cyprus mint. Obv: head of Herakles right, wearing lionskin headdress. Rev: BASILEWS ALEXANDROY beneath and to right of Zeus seated left, right leg drawn back, holding eagle and sceptre; PE monogram in left field, P beneath chair. Price 3177; Kirazli hoard 74.
