Calabria - Tarentum - Taras AR Nomos. 302-280 B.C. Obv: naked horseman right, crowning horse; SA in left field, magistrate's name ARE-QWN in two lines beneath the horse. Rev: TARAS to right of Taras holding tripod, on dolphin left; CAS below. Evans VI type A, 1; Vlasto 666; HN Italy 957. 7.71 grams. Ex UK private collection.
