Anglo-Saxon Decorated Radiate-Headed Brooch. 5th-6th century A.D. A radiate-headed brooch composed of a triangular headplate with roundels to each corner, carinated bow and triangular footplate also with roundels to each corner, the body punched with ring-and-dot motifs of various sizes at random intervals within a notched border; remains of pin lug and catchplate to reverse. 6.08 grams, 50 mm (2 in.) Found whilst searching with a metal detector, Isle of Wight, UK, on 27 February 2019.
