Roman Marble Monument Section. 2nd-3rd century A.D. A marble statue or antefix formed as an ellipsoid panel and triangular-section stub to the reverse; palmette motif in high-relief with lobed terminals. 4.2 kg, 18 cm (7 1/8 in.) Acquired in the 1970s. Property of a gentleman.
