Roman Ring with Winged Bull. 2nd-3rd century A.D. A ring with D-section hoop, stepped shoulders and oval bezel engraved with a winged bull standing left. 6.66 grams, 24.32 mm overall, 18.96 mm internal diameter (approximate size British O 1/2, USA 7 1/4, Europe 15.61, Japan 15) (1 in.) Acquired 1970s. Property of a London gentleman.
Fine condition. A large wearable size.
