See various samples in Reinach, S., Répertoire de la statuaire grecque et romaine, Paris, 1897-1930. 2.18 kg total, 19.5 cm high including stand (7 5/8 in.) Acquired 1960s-1990s. From the late Alison Barker collection, a retired London barrister The fragment represents probably a young divinity or hero, considering the dimensions, modelled with excellent detail. The sculpture shows beautiful proportions and a high capacity for anatomical rendering and most likely was part of a valuable statue.
