Featuring Lots from the Honshu Collection
JAPAN. Bank of Japan. 100 Yen, 1913. P-33b. PMG Very Fine 30.
The final date of issue for this type, which was the highest denomination of the series, which was redeemable in gold coin. Very scarce in any grade, this example shows some minor rust, but other than that it is an exceptional piece that faces up well for the technical grade. The color on the back is very strong for the type and quite appealing making this an ideal representative for the issue. PMG Comments "Minor Rust."
From the Honshu Collection.
