JAPAN. Bank of Japan. 10 Yen, 1902. P-32a. PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
Wholesome example of this scarce issue that was redeemable in gold coin. Nice problem-free circulated grade with good eye appeal. Bright color and not easy to find in better grades. This type was printed from 1899 to 1913. The date is found on the back, in Japanese text, at left (printed in red). This is one of the earlier dates of the series, 1902, and while collecting these by date is still in its infancy it provides a nice challenge for the specialist to enhance a Japanese type collection.

1902年日本銀行兌換券拾圓。
此張鈔券可兌換等額黃金，版別稀有，彌足珍貴，今能得見品相如此完好者，實屬難得。雖有流通痕迹，但票面無瑕，印色明麗依舊，品相高於此的存世品可說是世間罕有。系列發行於1899年至1913年間，其發行年份以紅色用日文印於背面左側。此張發行於1902，屬該系列早期發行。按年份收藏的藏家雖為數不多，但對於專精於此的藏家而言，也不失為一提升收藏層次的良機。
