Circa 1793 Washington Success Token. Large Size. Second Obverse. Musante GW-42, Baker-266, W-10915. Brass. Reeded Edge. VF-25 (PCGS).
Medium olive gold brass with some slight granularity noted under close study and a tiny spot of verdigris on Washington's lapel. Rather sharp detail for the grade, particularly on the reverse where the central motif is in decent relief, though the central details are not present. On some, this feature is all but flat, even on much higher grade specimens.
PCGS# 780. NGC ID: 2VZ7.
From the Sydney F. Martin Collection. Earlier from Early American History Auctions' sale of August 2003, lot 961.
