1897-S Morgan Silver Dollar. MS-65+ DPL (NGC).
Radiant premium Gem surfaces are untoned and fully lustrous. The fields are deeply mirrored and highly reflective, forming a splendid backdrop to sharply impressed devices. The 1897-S is scarce with a Deep Mirror Prooflike finish, as here, and most such examples are heavily abraded and confined to lower grades through MS-64. A truly exceptional coin, and ideal for inclusion in even the finest collection of prooflike Morgan dollars.
