BRAZIL. Lot of (2). Banco Credito Popular do Brazil. 200 Mil Reis, 1890 (ND ca. 1891). P-S554p1 & S554p2. Front & Back Proofs. PMG Choice About Uncirculated 58 & Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ.
Matched pair of front and back proofs on cardboard printed by the American Bank Note Company. Strong originality and eye-appeal are seen on both sides, including fresh colors. The front proof is cut down a bit narrowly but it does not impact any of the design elements. A scarce private bank issue with a lovely design.
