One of just two examples of this date and denomination in the PMG population report and by far the nicest of the duo. A difficult date and denomination that seldom becomes available for sale in any form. 50,000 notes were printed and released into circulation in June of 1955 but most must have been withdrawn in the 1960s as this piece is missing from even the most advanced collections. Starting with this series the 100 Gulden became purple and shows a view of Fort Oranje on St. Eustatius. A minor paper pull is mentioned on the back for accuracy but is not distracting.
