The single finest of this scarce type and denomination in the PMG population report. Even though some collectors consider this the most available date for the type, there are still just four issued notes in the PMG population report, a testament to the true scarcity of Curacao banknotes from the 1930 - 1960 series. While this note did spent some of its life in circulation, it has retained strong paper quality, and comes with good eye-appeal. With the standardization of the 1954 series the 50 Gulden became red, with a central motive that shows Great Bay on the Dutch side of St. Maarten.
