New York, New York. Chemical Bank. 1859 $1. Haxby 1505-001-G82b. PMG Choice Very Fine 35 EPQ.

An attractive ABNCo product with Danforth, Bald, & Co. New York & Philada imprint. It is a very scarce late issue from the Chemical Bank with an orange tint and a white-and-orange "ONE" protector. In 1865, it became the Chemical National Bank of New York (Ch. #1499).
