New York, New York. Chemical Bank. 1858 $1. Haxby 1505-001-G82. PMG Very Fine 20.

A lovely issued note from this bank that was originally organized in 1823 and later became The Chemical National Bank of New York in 1865. This note has a lovely overall red tint and a brick red and white ONE protector, featuring a vignette of four men and women with a factory and town off in the distance. Also, at top center is the popular dogs chasing a bird vignette.
