1787 New Jersey Copper. Maris 54-k, W-5295. Rarity-3. No Sprig Above Plow, Serpent Head. VF Details--Planchet Flaw (PCGS).

Glossy olive-brown, autumn and pale gold surfaces with evidence of an old cleaning. The strike is soft at right obverse and reverse, detail sufficiently bold elsewhere. A number of planchet splits and other flaws around the periphery explain the PCGS qualifier.
