1864 Eagle on Cannon / Amazon Maiden. Fuld-160/218 f. Rarity-9. Silver. Plain Edge. MS-64 (PCGS).

19 mm. A rare and popular motif in this series, akin to a Wildman or equestrian design among German talers. This piece is even more desirable as a silver striking - arguably the most coveted metallic composition among advanced Civil War token enthusiasts. Lightly toned in iridescent champagne-apricot and golden-russet, the surfaces are highly lustrous with smooth Choice Mint State quality. Fully struck.
