Countermark: Type V, crowned F.7.0 within circle. Applied to the obverse of a 1792-Mo FM Mexico bust 8 Reales of Charles IIII (IV) (KM-109). This charming example displays attractive rich gray patina with even wear. The countermark is bold with nearly complete design features on a nicely preserved host. A popular type from the series, this RARE date host is currently the only example we have recorded for this countermark. Pleasing and wholesome, this handsome piece offers good eye appeal with much originality.
