COSTA RICA. Banco Internacional de Costa Rica. 10 Colones, 1919. P-175a. PMG Very Fine 25.
A run of 100,000 Serie C notes was issued on Jan. 4, 1919, S/N C 43239. The front shows coffee pickers at the center with an intricate guilloche design flanking each side along with the denomination. The back also shows an intricate design along with the denomination. Only 6 examples graded by PMG with this example bested by only 1 in Gem uncirculated 66 EPQ. PMG Comments "Tape Residue."
