1859-D Gold Dollar. Winter 11-N. AU-58 (PCGS).
A visually engaging piece with deep honey-gold color and blushes of rose highlights. The strike is exceptionally sharp by Dahlonega Mint standards, as typically seen for the issue, and we do not hesitate to describe the overall definition as sharp. Satiny with modest hints of semi reflectivity that are best observed as the coin dips into a light.
PCGS# 7553. NGC ID: 25CN.
