Highly eye appealing, this is 1833 Capped Bust half would have been described as Choice Brilliant Uncirculated in the days before third party certification. A warm gray overtone is backlighted by a bold mint brilliance. Nicely struck and generally clean for the grade assigned by PCGS ages ago, this coin deserves a home in a fine collection.
