Description
1832 Capped Bust Half Dollar. O-121. Rarity-3. Small Letters. MS-64 (PCGS).
A frosty Capped Bust half dollar with a luster that comes to life in a light. Dove and pewter-gray toning is the general palette with hints of blue, olive, antique gold, and russet at the peripheries, particularly on the obverse. Only some weakness of strike is noted on Liberty's hair curls and on the star centers, but the dentils, drapery folds, and eagle's feathers are generally well executed. A nice, high grade example for type, date, or variety purposes that is solidly in the Condition Census.
