1948-S Booker T. Washington Memorial. MS-67+ (NGC). CAC.
Beautiful satiny surfaces are mostly brilliant, save for a blush of reddish-apricot color visible on the obverse. Exceptionally well preserved for the type, Washington's cheek is particularly impressive for its smooth appearance. As one of the most attractive examples of both the type and issue that we have ever handled, this premium Superb Gem is equally well suited for inclusion in a high quality type set or specialized collection of classic commemorative coins.
