1908 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. No Motto. MS-67 (PCGS). OGH.
A spectacular Gem featuring some truly amazing toning. The deep orange -gold surfaces are intermingled with abundant powder-blue and turquoise colors. They also exhibit bold cartwheel luster and the strike is sharp. The aesthetic appeal easily meets the standards of the assigned grade. From the first of two distinct types for the date -- later in the year the motto IN GOD WE TRUST was added to the reverse design and remained there through the end of the denomination in 1933. Exceptional for the grade and with unstoppable eye appeal.
