MCMVII (1907) Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. High Relief. Wire Rim. AU Details--Mount Removed (PCGS).
Evidence of amount removal is noted at the top of the obverse. As a result, the surfaces have been lightly polished, but display attractive olive-gold tones. While the surfaces have been fussed with, marks are at a minimum; the most egregious disturbance is a tiny disturbance on the rising sun on the reverse. While not the prettiest MCMVII High Relief $20 you are apt to see, it still has soothing visual aspects but should be seen before bidding.
