Fr. 1904-D. 1969A $1 Federal Reserve Note. Cleveland. PMG Choice Uncirculated 64. Fancy Serial Number.
It is impressive to us that there are so many high grade ten million serial numbers in this sale. All ten millions are positioned at the bottom of a 4000 brick and subject to potential damage more than any other note in the brick. This great note is graded as Choice Uncirculated and that is an achievement in our opinion. This specific note was last sold at auction by Lyn Knight as lot 1094, on 03-18-2014 at $1955 in its present holder. A hammer price of about double that number would not be unreasonable nine years later.
