Description

Fr. 1935-D. 1976 $2 Federal Reserve Note. Cleveland. PCGS Currency Very Choice New 64 PPQ. Fancy Serial Number.
Many collectors and dealers, at first glance, will not realize just how rare this note is. After seeing this many "Ten Millions" in one auction, one could easily miss the fact that this is a $2 note. The Baeder census shows no $2 Legal Tender Ten Millions and no other $2 Federal Reserve Notes with Ten Million Serial Numbers. There is no Track and Price record of this note having been sold. This ultra scarce note is the ONLY example of any $2 note from series 1928 to 2017A serial # X0000000 note that anyone has documented as having been sold. Our consignor paid $7000 for this note eight years ago.
From the Wisconsin Collection.

Estimate: $5000.00- $10000.00
