Fr. 275. 1899 $5 Silver Certificate. PCGS Banknote Uncirculated 62 PPQ.
With much paper wave still in evidence, this Napier-McClung Chief screams originality. The blue embossing almost seems to pop off the surface. The obverse design is ever-so-slightly skewed, which no doubt accounts for the numerical grade. Otherwise this note would almost certainly qualify for a point or two higher.
